I'm happy with everything except Psychology. I thought I'd do better, but the main point is that this will actually cover what I need at my college this upcoming semester, so it all played out alright. Government and Psychology were my main objectives, since they are part of my degree plan. Environmental Science: 3 Psychology: 3 US Government: 4 Macroeconomics: 3 Human Geography: 5 English Language and Literature: 5 Art Portfolio Drawing: 4 Art Portfolio 3D Sculpture: 4
English

  • It is an interesting course if you have the right teacher. This was the first year our school offered it, and the teacher was obviously a little new to it as well; she taught regular Environmental Science in years prior to this one, but AP is more detailed and rigorous. While I technically passed, I feel I would have done better in a class that was better equipped for the subject. The teacher liked to use slideshows she found online, and bragged that it was the "easier" way of doing things. Please make sure your teacher can provide the proper learning environment, and on that note, always understand that it is an AP class; the tests, quizzes, projects, and labs are not all going to be "easy," but it is definitely one of the more manageable AP classes. If you paid attention, and did what she said, you got the grade. And most importantly, check if the colleges you plan on applying for accept AP scores for that test. My college does not sadly...so even though I passed, it does not matter to them. My advice is to take it if you want to learn more about the environment, and what we can do to affect it in both positive and negative ways. It is easier than many other AP classes in my honest opinion, but the test itself is difficult if you do not manage your time wisely, have not studied, are lazy, and do not adapt to having a teacher that does not always know the course material. You will get out what you put in, so to speak, in regards to effort. Please message me if you would like any tips or more information about Environmental Science. I would be glad to help out.
