Something a lot of you aren't understanding is that your own views and personal thoughts about religion aren't really relevant in this conversation. If you have a personal opposition to the institution of religion, fine, whatever, I couldn't care less. But this discussion is about what would and should be in destiny. And, if you don't have faith in Bungie to handle religion in a tasteful, nonintrusive manner, then I don't know why you're posting on this forum to begin with.

  • I agree. I was thinking that the factions; Osiris, 7 Seraphs, etc. would partially be religiously based (could be wrong but it's a thought). It would make sense that some people would have some sort of worship or idolization in regards to the Traveler and that people outside the city may despise them for thinking they are somehow better than everyone else because the Traveler saved them. I can see that there could be a lot of religious politics brewing from the worship of a giant sphere who's intentions are unknown. Cool topic.
