Been thinking of getting into EVE Online and Warhammer 40k.
They seem to be very popular as of recently (and probably always, just never noticed it.)
From what I've heard and seen of EVE, it get's pretty crazy and is supposedly really fun.
Also, for Warhammer I have no interest in the table top. Heard they changed the game rules for the worse and it's way too expensive. But I understand there are RTS and a huge lore to it.
So, any fans of either on here that gave give me tips on weather I should or shouldn't and what to do if I wind up getting into it?

Edited by The Alcotai: 6/19/2013 1:37:15 AMAs much as I love tabletop 40k it's not particularly balanced and needlessly expensive for what it is. Dawn of War is an decent RTS which makes it an excellent alternative and is a good place to start with the universe. Lots of good books too if you're into the lore (and there's lots of it).
