I never thought I'd see the day where the Playstation would beat the Xbox in this website.
The picture above shows a poll that amazon was having on their facebook page. Shadynly enough the poll was ended early and was deleted off the facebook page.

I can't remember result approaching / outside two standard deviations like this since I faked some data collection on a physics experiment... Any word on why the poll was taken down..? Hint: Although there's no doubt you'd expect Sony to win a 'favourite console' poll, and even arguably by a huge margin - results this comprehensive usually indicate something else is at play. :)

I'm not sure why the poll was taken down. I wouldn't be surprised if MS had something to do with it. Last time I went to that page a lot of people were mad at Amazon for taking it down early. I'm not sure if Amazon responded to them but I doubt they will.

Microsoft may have complained, agreed. But they would be in their rights to do so. A thread like this from Amazon holds some 'weight' and 'authority'. My previous point was that results like this are statistically close to impossible and indicate some sort of manipulation. Don't take this response as one of a fanboy, I'd assume Sony to win a poll like this by a large margin, if not by a landslide - the results shown are well beyond 'landslide'! :)

If the poll got rigged you'd think that they would announce that as the reason why the poll got taken down. I don't find it hard to believe that the PS4 destroyed the Xbone on that poll. Stats can be pretty interesting like that - kind of like Maths and Science. The story of Sony fighting back against Microsoft is a compelling one - my favourite part is where Microsoft goes broke because no one buys the xBoxOne.
