Microsoft had a solid conference showing off an impressive lineup for Xbox One without addressing concerns of the system. Titanfall had be game of the show for me and Dead Rising 3 I felt was also exciting. Sony had a solid line-up too, this time with a wider variety of games and genres while addressing concerns in the best way possible and announcing a price point that undercuts the Xbox by $100. Ubisoft were very impressive proving they are the publisher to watch in the next year or so. The Division blew me away and new showings of Watch_Dogs, Rayman Legends and Assassin's Creed 3 delighted. EA had two killer game reveals that, although previously heavily rumoured proved to stun fans generating hype. Both Mirror's Edge 2 and Star Wars Battlefront stole the show for me but Battlefield 4 was also highlight, showing off 64-player multiplayer and the return of Commander mode. Overall I'd have to say Sony's conference won for me. The games were solid and impressed across the board and their in-direct response to Microsoft's complicated and restrictive policies of their new console.
