Is there any reason why the current console versions wasn't 32 players to begin with?
-
Battlefield 3 & 4: 64 players per map, cost: $60 PlanetSide 2: 2000 players per map, cost: Free to Play I dunno... I just don't see why Battlefield is relevant anymore.

Quick question, are the 64 player games on pc lag free?
-
30 fps, the 60fps part is referring to next gen ports.

Edited by Barack Obama: 6/12/2013 9:49:50 PM60 on current? What?! Edit: OP fix your title. It's still 30 fps.

Yep... I read it wrong. It was on the current gen consoles. Damn the new consoles sounding so similar at first glance! 32 players going at 60fps on the X360 is pretty impressive though. http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/12/e3-2013-battlefield-4-commanding-armies-and-toppling-skyscrapers

That's for Current Gen. The official Battlefield 4 website says that 64 player multiplayer will be on PC and Next Gen consoles.
-
It was confirmed that there would 64 player multiplayer in the Xbox talks with BF4 yesterday.
-
No no, the 32 player count will only be for the PS3 and 360 version of the game. PC and next-gen consoles are going to be at 64. source

You're thinking of Battlefield 3 maybe? So you're a few years late... I was pretty sure they said 64.
-
It is 64
-
it's not 32, they already said it was 64
-
I thought DICE confirmed that there were going to be 64 players on the ps4 and x1.
