[b][u]Introduction[/u][/b] Hello. I know there has been "Please bring Destiny to the PC" threads before; but here is my reason why I wish for it to be on the PC. [u][b]Why the PC? [/b][/u] Recently I was given to own a Oculus Rift, and soon to be Omi tread mill device, (I am a indie dev) Both devices have software which let you use both of them in any PC game. Ever since the marathon days Iv loved bungie, and Halo was amazing for me. It was the only reason why I owned a Xbox, and a 360; the only thing to keep me off my PC. [u][b]Console Market Today[/b][/u] Years have gone by and the console market has become a bore for me. All my friends that I enjoyed halo and bungies games with, have left also for PC gaming, and who can blame them? Steam sales, so many cool Free To play's, great mods, great emulators, overall always will be what a console can't in the long run. However PC's just gained something consoles can never do. Virtual Reality. Owning an Oculus Rift myself has been a great gaming experience for me I love the Rift and it truly is what the hype wishes for it to be. [u][b]Now with Destiny[/b][/u] This is where im getting with Destiny. Now that all the consoles are a bore to this die-hard PC gamer, No VR, no steam sales, Pay per month etc, I don't want a PS4, or XboxOne. I feel like these new generation consoles aren't even as impressive as the Rift. (however if I had to I would go for PS4) Please Bungie. I wouldn't even mind if you told us it would come to the PC eventually be it a year after consoles. I don't want to buy a PS4 only to find it being announced for the PC so late after the initial release. I can't go back to playing games on a 2D monitor, as it is very hard for me. I can't stress it enough that once you play games in the rift it feels like why should you go back to a 2-D monitor? Using Vireo Perception drivers, and soon to be more drivers on the way iv been able to play ANY game on the PC with the rift. Also I have Razer Hydra Hand controllers with work great with any FPS. [u][b]Conclusion[/b][/u] I hope you all are not angered by my opinion that PC is better than consoles. It's just an opinion my own opinion so don't take it seriously and flame me or anything. Yes I stand by it and believe it, but I don't want to get flamed for being another "PC elitist" I think we should all CO-exist for financial reasons, but hell I want to be inside Destiny, and not sitting on my couch looking at a screen far away with a controller. I backed the OMI treadmill as well and will have one sent soon; its great to get some physical activity running fast and shooting at the same time etc! If Destiny never makes it to the PC; Oh well, the PS4 looks nice as far as consoles go. Thats the thing I feel with bungie. There games always make a console a must have; even if that single game is the only one you will buy for it. I felt that way about Halo 1, 2 and 3. Cx
