There were exactly 9 sentences this week about yet again vague descriptions regarding the maps, and mindless chatter about how much 'fun' they had playing the maps. A week, in most peoples books, is [i]longer[/i] than "the extremely near future". just thought i'd point it out... kind of saddened by this i guess, as far as entertainment expecations vs. deliverance goes.

What happened to the "Free Halo 3 with purchase of Xbox 360 and Xbox Live" news story? I sent a text message to my cousin to wait a few more weeks to get his 360 since he can get a free copy of Halo 3 with his purchase. Do I have to tell him I was lying? Or was this info that wasn't supposed to be given out yet? Please tell me the promotion is still going to happen on November 21st so I don't have to call him and confess that I was playing a very, very dirty trick on him. Thanks.

Awsome Update. I can't wait for those maps! By the way, that 66.92% of people who have the graduate achievment might have been 66.93% if the game (or live) didn't happen to pass by it without giving it to me. =( Can someone please look into that?

Too bad 2.00% of the 2.07% are "fakers" that went into LW asking people to stand around while they got their Overkill and Steppin' Razor. Team Hardcore = Nice New maps so soon = Cool Taking more of my money so soon = Not so cool How's work on the "OMG he lunged across the room at me and killed me with 1 milisecond of AR fire and a beatdown" and "OMG I shot my entire clip into him, gave him a beat to face and he didn't die but then he killed me with just one beatdown" coming along? How's the "I sniped him 3 times in the head, blood came out, and he took no damaged and I watched it back on my saved film" coming along? How's the banhammer coming along?

Nice update bungie good to see that you guys sat down and talked about the MM playlists as well as some other issues. I like hints you are throwing off about the new maps but im hoping theres some smaller maps like midship from halo 2 or at least a map that plays like it cause guardian is ok in some areas but i feel FFA just doesnt suit it very well. Im glad to hear team hardcore is coming to the playlist but it will proably be even more challenging now because its so easy to die. I have played some 4v4's with friends and idk it just doesnt have the same feel to it because of the no radar deal. I know i sound like a noob because im saying this but in halo 2 it was different cause you could actually have a chance if someone was sneaking up on you or already got the first shot off on you. In halo 3 its not the same D=. Oh well i guess ill just have to adjust. Anyways nice update and cant wait to hear about the news on the 19th.

As an MLG Customs player, I'm sad, because MLG Customs are VERY easy to find right now. Once Team Hardcore comes out, a large group of people will stop playing MLG customs like they stopped believing in Santa Clause.. It is my personal hope that Bungie maintains the AR start and includes Last Resort as a map in the playlist. Turn on radar for extra camping--don't forget to add Maulers! Oh and High Ground one flag is Halo 3's most competitive gametype--almost as competitive as Free For All Crazy King/Oddball. [Edited on 11.16.2007 6:17 PM PST]
