I would love the next Doctor to be a good actor, regardless of ethnicity.
Idris Elba is a fantastic actor, and would make a great Doctor. They've been hinting at there being a coldness in the Doctor's heart(s) for so long now, we need a Doctor with a bit on menace to him. And if any of you have watched Luther, you will know that Idris can do menacing.

I'm thinking it's foreshadowing the 50th special. Having [spoiler]John Hurt[/spoiler] in the last episode and the 50th kinda points to there being something.

Is that really a spoiler? It was sort of announced in big bold letters at the end of the last episode...

Some people like to distance themselves away from the 50th or haven't watched all of season 7b.
