DNS Fix made my xbox faster
So I recently had to change some of my router settings to allow my xbox to have an Open NAT and it ended up opening it, but I had to test connection every time I turned on the Xbox. So I looked up the issue and found out I needed to manually direct my DNS server and after a little more searching decided to use Google's 8.8.8.8, and low and behold my xbox signs in correctly and much quicker than it did on the default setting.
I'm not a network guru, but this seems like a good thing to me.
Also, every time I portfoward I get a moderate NAT, so I use the static NAT feature instead. I had to fiddle with my Network because I set the static NAT to an IP and not a device, so my Granny's Kindle Fire snagged the Static IP somehow. I think it's because the DHCP only leases out IPs for 7 days at a time, and I hadn't signed in for a little over a week.

Thanks for reminding me to set up a static internal IP for my Xbox OP. Also I'll be sure to try out your 8.8.8.8 trick too.
