Our society is developing quickly, and with that new ways of getting what we want.
The question on my mind today is: Do you prefer a physical of a game?

Physical. They take up space on my hard drive.

I prefer a physical copy, but if I can't get it I'll download it digitally.

I don't mind digital as long as there are no DRM strings attached. Like on steam I can buy a digital copy, activate it, and be offline forever if I wanted.

I went through this dilemma when the new Fire Emblem came out for 3DS. I bought a limited edition 3DS which came with the game pre installed on the SD card but I wanted the physical game so I bought that too. In hindsight I probably should have just stayed with the digital.

Physical, mainly because of hard drive space.

Usually I download something I'm interested in, and if it's good, I buy a physical copy of it.

Edited by Smarkdow: 5/28/2013 7:10:38 PMPhysical. I like having something tangible to show that I own a copy of a game. There are a few times when I will purchase a game digitally: -If an actual copy of the game is impossible to find and/or too expensive, I'll get the digital version instead. -There's a great sale on Steam.

Edited post for relevance to the forum :P

Digital. You know why? Cause wherever I download Steam, I can instantly download and install my games. I can launch 5 different games in a few seconds. My library can be thousands of games large, but don't take any room.

Physical for games and movies. Music is digital, except in rare occasions where I buy vinyl LPs to collect.
