I use my laptop, a Bamboo tablet, and the art program Paint Tool Sai :)

Well warlock bro, there are a number of ways artists like everyone here create their pieces. I personally use an ipad, and I use the app called brushes 3. Since I don't have a very expensive computer, just a standard HP laptop, I don't use photoshop. There are many ways to go about doing this, but I actually prefer an ipad with a stylus. Check out our guides and tutorial post. Many people use Adobe Photoshop but there are free open source alternatives as well.
