It was pretty good. It disappointed me on a few fronts, the primary one being the incredibly forced relationship between Artyom and Anna that was both completely unbelievable and uninteresting, but it more or less lived up to its predecessor.

I agree. The relationship felt rushed and there was little back story or development.
