So I did acid for the first time last night
I tell you. Most crazy thing ive experienced. It was enjoyable, and I felt like I was on a quest to somewhere, I just didnt know where to go or how to get there. Shapes were more vivid, things were glowly, music was absolutely amazing. I know the flood doesnt generally like to talk about it, but does anyone have some funny first trip stories?

Because gaining new perspectives on things and exploring the deeper parts of your psych is such are terrible thing. My first time on acid sucked pretty hard. I dropped it at a party but we got kicked out by the police so we had to walk home at like 1 in the morning tripping balls through a bad part of town. I became utterly convinced that a bus stop wanted to be my friend but when I tried to tell it my name I felt it reject me and that was one of the most saddest moments of my life. Mushrooms are absolutely amazing. Feeling your ego being shattered into an infinite number of pieces then becoming one with the universe and the deep insights that come with that is absolutely incredible. Some of the RC's on the market can be fun too. 2ci-nBOME is very similar to LSD, bit more bodyload but more visuals too. You have to be careful with RC's because most are very easy to overdose on. 5-MeO-DMT is mental, like a less intense version of Salvia. You feel more integrated with DMT, Salvia sorta grabs you by the seat of the pants and drags you to hell but DMT is more gentle somehow.

I tried it once - it was kind of cool at first but got really annoying. It was like my thoughts were happening before I could comprehend them, just as I realised what my last thought was I was already thinking about something else, it was like I couldn't keep up so I just went to bed to try and sleep it off. I remember seeing really vivid images of horses coming out of giant oceon waves when I tried to sleep which pretty cool I guess. I doubt Id ever try it again - I'm getting a bit too old for that crap anyway.

It is by far the most visual inducing drug. With acid and shrooms, you see the world differently. On DMT, you don't see the world at all. You are somewhere else. Geometric patterns are everywhere, and people claim to meet God (or a higher power). Also, you have DMT inside you right now, and you need it to survive. Yet it is illegal...

6 RepliesI just want to set the record straight for these kids. The popular psychedelics, such as LSD, Mushrooms, and DMT are very safe in the physical sense. No, they will not make your brain bleed. They will not be lodged in your spine, or anything else like that. However, in people who are predispositioned to mental illnesses, especially schizophrenia, psychedelics can cause an early onset of said illness. That being said, I've tried psychadelics a few times. I did shrooms three times, and I binged on acid for a weekend. I'm completely fine now, and in fact, have a better perspective on life. These drugs aren't quite as they appear on TV or movies. They are often less visual, but they completely mess up your perspective. While you are tripping, any bias you have is completely removed. You see yourself how others see you, and you see things from a neutral viewpoint. This can be scary to some people. And more often than not, a bad trip isn't so much seeing "dragons" or "spiders" or "demons", but rather realizing things that your mind was keeping from you before.

1 ReplyThe first time I dropped acid, we went out and wandered around in the forest for about 8 hours. At one point we ran into this guy who was walking by himself and we kinda freaked out, but just kept walking past him. We tried to say hi to him but all he did was stare at us and not say a word. It was quite creepy as he looked like the axe murderer type of guy, but I'm sure he was just some guy taking a walk through the forest. In hindsight, he was probably just as weirded out/freaked out as we were cause he probably saw our eyes were buggy as shit. Anyway, good times.
