How many of you just like the idea of finding a gun and making it your own?
I mean sure, a crafted gun would be better, but there's just something about stumbling upon a unique (Not rare unique) weapon on the floor, buying ammo for it, and making it your own "companion".

I LOVE the idea of taking a gun you already like...then having a plethora of customization options to make it YOURS. Long as all the "customization" options are cosmetic only and mods would be what make the gun more powerful....then no matter how you mod the gun, it can always look how you want it to, then everyone will have a unique gun endgame =)
