1. More Realistic Space Travel and Exploration: What I mean by this would simply be getting onto your ship and literally manually flying out or into the atmosphere of a planet instead of having a loading screen pushed onto you every time you want to enter or leave a planet on your ship. On top of this, maybe an implementation of the ability to land anywhere on the planet's surface or even just fly around the planet and hover over a spot to take a 'rest'.
I love this idea Drojman. The main reason I find this idea so awesome is because it provides the player with a true sense of the scale of the world / universe they are playing in. This scale is diminished or lost entirely when games lean heavily on zones and loading screens. I also really like the idea of being able to take your space ship anywhere, though I do think that being able to land yourself anywhere you wanted to could be problematic. If you could land anywhere at all than you would be able to bypass all sorts of challenges and content. For this reason I think you'd probably need ports at set locations to land at. Despite this, I still think it would be awesome to be able to fly over anywhere you want in order to get a glimpse of the worlds and the things that you would encounter in the future. I don't know if anything like this is even a remote possibility in Bungie's plan, but it's still interesting to discuss.

 • Thank you for the reply! I would hope at least what you stated would be possible. I don't mind a few blocking walls, ones such as walls between you and an instance or a important location, but I mean more exploration of the wild.
