In terms of what? In sheer scale and man power, the Army wins hands down. In discipline and conditioning of the individual warrior, it's the Marines. In SF guys, the Army wins that. USMC has only 1 SF branch and that's MARSOC. Army has many more. Although Marine Scout Snipers are in fact better than the Army equivalent. In air power, Marines. In terms of general equipment the Army has a larger budget so generally it has better equipment. In terms of special assaults the Marines win that. Yes the Army does put on quite a show when a ground invasion happens. However when the Marines and the Navy storm a beach, hold on to your f***ing helmet, here comes the storm. But in the end we all fight for the same side, all for the same purpose. The argument could go either way depending on the pride you have in your service branch.
