Graphics look outstanding!

One thing I noticed right off the bat is that they have improved the whole "strictly linear" issue that plagued BF3. There is more freedom, you have options on which routes to take, and whether or not to drive vehicles.
Also, the game is going to launch for Xbox 360 and PS3 with 24 players, and for Xbox Next and PS4 whenever they come out, with 64 players and PC equivalent graphics.

The community of Bungie.net is the most stuck up group of people I've ever seen. Positive comments for anything are as rare as stray penguin flocks in the Sahara Desert. These graphics look awesome, and I can't wait to find out more about the multiplayer. I'm definitely going to buy this game, and this game could make me buy the next Xbox when it comes out instead of waiting a few months.

I've always enjoyed Battlefield over Call of Duty. Looks pretty sweet, even if trying to pander a bit more to the CoD crowds. I'm pretty excited :D
-
It looks like BF3
-
I still don't know why they use autotuned farts for the music.
-
Looks lame.

Edited by Egerspurge: 3/28/2013 2:52:22 AMA prettier version of the same shit we've been getting for years.
-
Edited by Pfhortnite: 3/28/2013 2:44:07 AMI like how it is less linear, but I hate how they just stole all the new features from Warfighter. There is literally nothing knew between the two games, save a shotgun grip. Also, stop picking on the Russians; They did nothing wrong, not even in BF3!
-
Blue tint has been removed from HUD elements now too. The visuals just went up just a bit more. :)
-
That literally looks EXACTLY the same as BF3. Battlefield has finally and truly become CoD.
-
It honestly looks like less has changed between MW2-MW3 than from Battlefield 3 to this game.
-
that looks really good, I enjoyed Battle Field 3 so I will probably pick this one up
-
omg grafics are so l33t it's gon be butter than call of duty in every way Also pretty much everything in the 60 second TV spot happen in Black Ops 2. ORIGINALITY FOR THE WIN!
-
If they use Rihanna in their TV Spots, Battlefield is dead. Dubstep is still here, nothing new introduced, helicopters crashing, explosions, and buildings falling down. I feel like I'm watching Battlefield turn into a carbon copy of Call of Duty.
-
Battlefield 4: Now with more lens flare!
-
I'm really excited to see some multiplayer gameplay. I want to see how they're implementing naval superiority, air superiority, and land vehicle superiority into the multiplayer.
-
The graphics look really good. The gameplay looks very much the same as BF3, which isn't exactly a bad thing.
-
Flat out bad. Nothing here was interesting or unique. It's just another run-and-gun shooter that honestly doesn't even have very nice graphics... where were the soft shadows? The dynamic destruction? The pretty fires? The showers of sparks? Battlefield's graphics are severely overrated... it's all lens-flare and pre-rendered set-pieces, and a dash of volumetric lighting and dust effects to cover up the fact that things are disappearing and changing instantly into a "destroyed" state. What's worse, this was campaign. EVERYONE and their mother knows Battlefield 3's campaign was garbage. NOBODY cares about what Battlefield 4's pathetic attempt at character development and storytelling will be. And still only 64 players online? *sigh* I am so glad I have PlanetSide 2.
-
Their was nothing impressive or shocking about the video other than the graphics, which i am sure are improved just for the build. How about instead of making another horrible scripted campaign they focus on making multiplayer great and not another BF3 disaster.

DUST PARTICLES LENS FLARE DUST PARTICLES LENS FLARE EXPLOSION EXPLOSION BIRDS BIRDS BIRDS EMOTIONAL MOMENT EXPLOSION BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR SOUNDTRACK Meh.
-
Struck me as just like Battlefield 3 with slightly better graphics. I'll wait 'till they show multiplayer footage to make my final decision. Seeing as I never even started the BF3 campaign, and will likely do the same for BF4.
-
Edited by Braydzz: 3/27/2013 5:37:19 PMIm actually impressed it looks like they are going for more of a action approach to the game. and to all the people saying it looks the same as BF3 well of course its going to run on the same engine. Frostbite 2 was just announced in 2011 and it takes years of time and effort to make a whole new engine.
-
-
I'm not too horribly impressed yet.
-
Instead of showing us a well paced campaign we got OMG LOOK AT TEH SHINY WHILE WE HIDE IT Confirmed that i'm not buying it, but on the other hand ZERO PUNCTUATIONN :D
-
Edited by brandorobot: 3/27/2013 12:46:48 PMLooks pretty much exactly like Battlefield 3. The graphics might be slightly improved but it's not a huge upgrade like Battlefield 3 was. I do see the campaign seems more open but to be honest I couldn't care less about the campaign.

Wow.. It sounds like a Battlefield again! When it came to realism.. I love this series over any other Modern shooter.
