Portals
So watching some Destiny videos again I noticed this portal shows up in two different scenes [url=http://static.accelerated-ideas.com/news/images/bungie_destiny.jpg]here[/url] and [url=http://media.exophase.net/images/2013/02/Lets-Talk-Destiny-2.jpg]here[/url].
The entire structure of the portal is the same in both of these shots, meaning it must be a generic placed structure. I'm thinking that this must be used as some form of fast travel across the planet you're on? What's your take?

Edited by MasterBarek: 3/20/2013 10:32:59 PMPersonally my working theory that the magic or powers the Traveler has bestowed upon on us are related to it controlling time/space much like Forerunners did in Halo with slipspace technology. It would also allow the Traveller to open or maintain portals to travel across our planet/solar system.
