What is your computer like?

I have an Asus laptop, running Windows 7, I really enjoy it. Its got 8 gigs of RAM, and a 1TB HDD, and a good graphics card. When I turn on my old laptop, I'm like "woah, this thing is such a piece of shit, how did I ever put up with it?" Also, the specs I remember from my old computer: It was running Windows Vista (service pack 1), it had 350 GB HDD, 3 GB RAM, and USB 2.0. It had a performance index of 2.9. It could only run Halo 2 Vista without a ton of choppiness at the lowest graphical settings and in windowed mode, although it used to be able to run it fullscreen at the second lowest graphic setting without lag, but it got worse over time until it couldn't. Also, it would freeze if it was left idle for more then half an hour, so I had to install a program that made it so it never idled.

This is my main computer. The 2011 27" iMac. 12 GB of RAM 1 TB HDD Radeon 6970 HD graphics card Intel i7 3.4 GHz processor She's my pride and joy, and the absolute best desktop I could possibly own, bar none. It's got a gorgeous all-in-one design and a body wrapped in aluminum for durability and remarkable portability. I use it for reading and writing mostly, but the 27" screen is also great for streaming Netflix for my family, sorting through pictures, editing page layouts in Adobe Indesign, and occasional video editing. I also run Windows 7 on it through Bootcamp, so I can enjoy my games like Skyrim, Planetside 2, StarCraft 2, Crysis 2, Metro 2033, League of Legends, and a laundry list of other games all on highest settings in 1080p. ;) I can't help but laugh when people mock Macs for gaming... this iMac is the best gaming platform I've ever owned!
