Odd question. How high are your Windows/Internet security settings set and are you running any 3rd party firewall or "Internet Security" package like Symantec or McAfee?

I just noticed that imppa, be it coincidence or not, is also from Finland. Could it be that the problem is because were are from here?
-
It certainly may be. That is a unique commonality and I know that one of my fellow ninja (in Norway) has also had some odd issues. What's up with you folks in Scandinavia? *grin*

Can I play the "ego-centric and ignorant American" card here?

Edited by FinFihlman: 2/25/2013 9:20:40 PMNo third party firewall or "Internet Security". Default settings. Here's a picture, it's in Finnish but you can see it's the same. Also, note that the "Reset all zones to default level" is grayed out, meaning I have made no changes to the security at all. The next page to the right is also on it's default settings. I appreciate the effort and your interaction. Just FYI (I am not a Bungie employee, so I am just a fellow member doing my best to help you out) so if you don't feel comfortable sharing or trying any of my advice, you are welcome to disregard me since I have no access to the backend/server systems. What's really odd (and keeps sticking in my brain) is that you're not getting any of these issues on IE or Firefox, but just on Chrome (but Chrome on various PC's). That is a clue, but a puzzling one. I'm just tossing this out there, and if you try it, you should probably put it back afterwards, but you may want to go into "trusted sites" add the "bungie.net" domain and retest. If it has any result (positive or negative) you could/should set it back, but it might be worth a try to see if it helps. Also, under Chrome-settings-advanced-privacy-content, can you check to see that your selections match these above? I am just spitballing until the real guys can say something with more authority and certainty than I.

Heh, I know when to call you out ; ) Appreciating the effort you're putting into this, though! Actually, I can't really reply to messages on IE, rather the pop up thingy is updated and I can view the messages on that. Pressing on any of those messages does nothing. The site says: "You are using an unsupported browser, your experience may be less than optimal" on big red letters though... Picture matches my settings. Adding Bungie.net (both http and https) had no effect.
