Versions 1 and 3 look the same while versions 2 and 4 look similar as well. You can't really tell using those pictures though. I'm not sure why you would want less versions of an enemy... Diversity is better instead of fighting the same looking guys over and over again.

Yes, they all look very similar, but imo the style in the various pictures is very different.
