Hey everyone,
I needed a larger and darker version of "The City" wallpaper from the ARG Results site. It's a simple Photoshop from the original from Bungie version, but I think it turned out well enough. Just wanted to share it here. Enjoy!

I did something like this almost as soon as the image was available. I didn't make it bigger though. It really does look good dark; almost reminds me of chalk on a blackboard.

Edited by Conscars: 2/19/2013 1:38:09 AMThanks OP, it's my new wallpaper. You guys should save as JPG though because Windows converts PNG wallpapers to JPG first and it's quite lossy.

Edited by Pulse Cloud: 2/18/2013 10:50:55 PMI think the color scheme is great, but I can't use the image because it looks like my screen is so dirty. Also, the background gradient has too much banding. If someone could fix it I would love you for a couple of minutes! EDIT: I made the fixes myself: 2560x1440 | 1920x1080 ImageShack modifies and truncates the filenames. Oh well... Pro-tip: don't save the image, right-click and set as wallpaper -- banding will occur (at least in Windows 7). Just open the image with your browser and set it as wallpaper through it. At least it works with Firefox.

Here's my new desktop now, good work, OP.

Thanks, OP. This'll be my wallpaper for many months.

Edited by DerekLW: 2/18/2013 5:21:12 AMHere's one I made to mimic the nice space/blue glow from some of the original wallpapers.
