Also do you not realise just how much money it would cost to move an entire population to another planet.
And even if they had the money, by the time the planets end came to be, even if the planet accepted Jor's evidence, you think there would be a sufficient time to move an entire planet? Obviously not, I mean if the planet is so close to it's death that the evidence for it is "compelling" as you say, then there simply wouldn't be.

The fact that they sent him to Earth implies our solar system was the closest Yellow sun. So they'd have to send them to Earth, charge up, and get them to fly back, THEN move the planet. Do you not see the flaw in that plan, given the little time they had?

Jor-El states that they sent Supes to Earth because he wanted him to protect humanity. Not because it was the closest yellow star.

But you're just making assumptions that they were near a yellow star, which they most likely wouldn't have been.
