After the End (chapter 2 just posted)

Alright, this is a story I've had going around in my head for a while. Basically it's what happens after some cataclysmic event ends civilization. No more character applications will be accepted. Sorry, but I didn't anticipate getting so many. Some people are going to end up as bit parts. If you wouldn't mind getting just a bit part (your name will be mentioned. You may get a line) send me a PM with what side you want to be on. That's it! My next post will be the prolouge. • After the End- Prolouge Who could have forseen what would happen? The end of everything we knew, cause by our own ignorance. Sure, some scientists and politicians saw it coming and tried to tell everyone. But no one belived them. And the ones that did were too stubborn to change. We went on with our normal lives just polluting and destroying our planet. That's how it had been since the beggining of civlization. And that's how it was at the End of civilization. When the End happened coastal areas were flooded by the melting ice caps. Forests became deserts. Deserts themselves became too hot for anyone to live there. Everywhere was a wasteland. The huiman population dwindled to barely over one million. 5,006,000,000 people dead almost overnight. The first people to be killed off were the scientists. People yelled "WHY DIDN'T YOU WARN US?! WHY DID YOU LET THIS HAPPEN?!" as they hung the scientists. People always look for a scapegoat when bad things hapen, even if they're blaming the people who tried to help. And besides, why would we need men of higher learning in this new world? Next to go were the politicians. While they were burned at the stake the people screamed "WHY DIDN'T YOU CHANGE?! WHY DID YOU LET THIS HAPPEN?!" And again, why would they be needed in a world without order? Eventually the warlords took over. They were all merely evil money grabbers and drug lords out to make a quick buck. They brutally desposed of anyone who chalenged them. Depraved public massacres and executions of dissidents were held to keep the people in line. Once they had taken over everyone they warlords fought each other for control. One came out on top. His name was Evilcam. Evilcam was a mysterious man. No one, not even his second in command ever saw his face, And he was just as evil as he was enigmatic. He never hesitated to have someone killed, just for the sheer ammusement of watching them die. He sepnt his days inside his armored bunker located in the land once known as Washington D.C., the former capitol for a country based on freedom. He chose it just for the pure irony. But there was one man who opposed Evilcam. He had forgotted his name not long after the End, as a result of evilcam's cruel mental torture. But everyone called him Python. He travelled along gathering an army to destroy Evilcam. On one day he strode into a town adout 300 miles from D.C. He was singing a song written by a man who loved peace enough to fight for it. As he walked into the town square the citizens gathered around to get a look at this strange man. Once a crowd had formed Python finished his song, singing out loudly "A working class hero is something to be. If you want to be a hero, well just follow me! If you want to be a hero, well just follow me..." More to come later. ~Monty
