Halo 2: One Year Later

It's Halo 2's very first birthday. We clebrate by taking a look at GASP Halo and Halo 2 running on Xbox 360, and a bunch of other really cool stuff you'll probably ignore because of 720p screens.

 • Good, informative post...thanks. The reason I ask is that I have a Samsung DLP that has scaling issues with two known games and Halo 2 happens to be one of them. Even though 480p games require very little scaling, Halo 2 has split second lag on my TV. I just wonder if the internal scaler within the 360 will eliminate this problem. Anyway, enough of this....Happy Birfday Halo 2!!!
Posted by: Dano32839 From what I understand the 360 does native 720p for MOST games and 1080i for a few. But the 360 has a built in scaler that will scale these res to whatever you ask for. So you really don't have to worry about ANY of it. Just tell it what you want. If you have a standard tv then set it to 480i. If you have an HD {Like mine} that does not do 720p then set the output to 1080i. OR let your tv scale it for you. ESPN puts out 720p only. And my tv scales it to 1080i...and it look every bit at good as the 1080 channles do. :) And I think ALL HDTVs can scale. In other words "No Worries". ;)
