There's no way I can spare another 80 dollars for this MS BS.
For no reason at all a few days ago my XBox video was very fuzzy, barely visible on my TV. It got progressively worse as I tried to adjust the AV cable. Finally I gave in and bought a new cable, and the same thing occured, fuzzy, sometimes not even appearing. I tried my XBox on three TVs, all the same. XBox Customer "Service" simply said it would be 80 dollars to repair because my three month warranty expired two months ago. Does anyone know why this is happening, or if there's any home repairs I could do?
Thanks so much!

You could: 1) Attempt to repair it on your own. Search google. 2) Fork over the $80. Warning: often when you send in things to be "repaired" and you're vague, the techs will *assume* it's fixed and send it back. That means another service charge for you. 3) Buy a new Xbox. You're guarenteed to have a warranty, and this one likely won't break any time soon. 4) Deal with the fuzzy screenness. 5) Don't play Xbox. [Edited on 4/19/2005]
