now that is a good question... well, there will probably be a chapter or two, more likely one, before we see kelly, cortana, and the spartan 3's. i'm thinking, though, that a new character must come in this coming chapter, one that everyone will agree is a necessary part of the story. as for the arbiter, we will see him shortly, maybe in two or three chapters. so far, the way i've set up the book is structured in sections, where the prologue and epilogue of halo 2. the second one is based only around kelly, cortana, halsey, and the spartan 3's. third is the arbiter, 'good covenant', and keyes and johnson, and this most recent one of mc and spartan2's, as well as earth. and the last section will be a mesh of all of them together, bringing the yin with the yang, blah blah blah. so the chapters might be mixed up, meaning one might be of kelly, then the arbiter, then mc, until they meet up or are killed, depending on what turns out.
