Spartan 049 - In Halo 2 you will be able to dual wield pistols (though they are different from Halo 1). The weapons you can dual wield are all single handed weapons like the SMG, Needler, Plasma Pistol, Plasma Rifle and Human Pistol. You can dual wield any variation of these. You cannot dual wield the Rocket Launcher, Battle Rifle, Shotgun etc. because they require more than one hand to operate.
