Why does halo have such a great plot? It's a pretty unoriginal idea. We are locked in a war against aliens who want to wipe out humanity, and are losing badly. Throw in the superhuman cyborg, robotic AI's, and a futuristic setting and it's not gonna win you the originality award anytime soon. As for gameplay, the levels are repetative and actually quite plain. The multiplayer rocks. (I am just playing devil's advocate, i love the game, but these things still hold true.)
