The knocking of which you spoke in your last post seems different to Jay, because it's obviously not intended to be taken seriously. Jay does that in settings where it's allowed, too. The knocking that you actually did seemed like repeatedly saying how embarrassingly foolish some one was, with the pretense* that you're talking about something that actually happened. That kinda knocking is known to upset people, and you should know it unless you're a total "noob" to human interaction. Jay doesn't see why you had such a desire to "knock" this person in the first place...
