Halo 4 Campaign Questions (Major Spoilers)
Cortana is dead. Think this is the end of her character or do you think she'll come back in some capacity? I for one am very pissed that they killed her off.
But my other questions:
1. During the final scene when the Didact is speaking, who is he speaking to?
2. How did the Didact survive?
3. Why isn't the Didact aware that humanity is not the enemy? (Having Read the first 2 forerunner novels he seems to regret ever going to war with humanity) But now he seems like he NEEDS to do it and that it's the only logical thing to do.
(Interesting note: During book 2 of the forerunner saga there were random times when chakas a.k.a. 343 guilty spark was speaking with a human science team that was looking for the Didact. Perhaps those conversations were set after Halo 4?
4. How did the Chief survive that nuke blast?

1. He's speaking to the Forerunner council 100,000 years before Halo4 2. How did he survive what? The Halo's firing? The Cryptum would have shielded him in a slipspace bubble. If you are asking how he could survive Halo 4, Forerunner armour would keep him safe in space and he can't be composed so falling through the beam wouldn't harm him. 3. He is aware of the Flood threat and the possible return of the Precursers. That's why he wanted to compose Earth, to build an army. 4. Cortana was in the ships systems and had control of the hardlight She protected the Chief the same way she restrained the Didact. [Edited on 11.09.2012 6:55 AM PST]
