why name it the 7th column?

how come bungie decided to name their club thing after something Winston Churchill made up to scare us Brits ? the history of it is a bit like this... to muster support and general 'togetherness' in britain during the second world war churchil made sum propaganda... he told us that the 7th column was a secret -blam!- spy organization operating in britain. I personally dont mind, but apparently for the older folk its a bit of a dark subject to talk of the 7th column. anyway, wot do u think? were bungie concious of this? or does it just sound cool?

  • After the first 6 columns failed, Bungie finally started work on the 7th Column. But knowing religion wasn’t a good mask, they just went for Neo Military organization, which to this day, could well defend Bill Gatte’s country if he choose to buy one. (Do not take my word as anything official)
