I'll admit that I haven't frequented these forums at all because I noticed an obscenely high noise to signal ratio. Scarier to think about is the fact that a lot of the "annoying wanks" from the Myth days are likely more mature, intelligent individuals now. Myth couldn't really have been released almost 7 years ago, could it? A forum dedicated to the older Bungie games, would certainly be a great way to help keep the "halo kiddies" away. I never thought a Mature game from Bungie would actually reduce the median age of their fanbase - surprises come in all shapes, sizes and ages though. As for screening, I honestly don't believe it's necessary. Without any common ground, and against a vastly superior intellect, anyone coming to sow dischord would likely find themselves ill-equipped to handle themselves. Consider that a self-filtering apparatus of sorts. Anyway - I too hope this idea finds official sanction - I wouldn't mind finding a Bungie forum that didn't scare me to keep up with. Cheers, --El B™
