Yeah I have been keeping up with halo since Halo :CE and I remember when I heard halo 2 was coming out. I would look all over the net to get info on weapons, vehicles, characters, and story lines. After halo 2 came out I was put to the floor of how awesome it was. I missed days of school to play the campaign mode. The multilayer could have used some work but it was and still is a great game. I foresee this game rocking my face off and my friend and I plan to play it split screen co-op all the way through in one day. I remember the old days of 16 smelly guys on four tvs and xboxs playing FFA on Hang 'em High. Now I can play with my buddies that we all have gone our separate ways and never get to see each other. Halo 2 was unlike any game I had played before with the experience and I feel my boys and bungie will bring it again this go round. As for the Podcast I love being able to keep up with all the news on everything halo 3. Its really good for those trips back to the parents house.... I love the Podcasts and will listen even after halo 3 comes out. Keep up the great work guys...

You guys said matchmaking is improve by having two ranking systems, a general and specific ones, but how will you use it with the Gamertag Zone. Because some people hate being matched up with little anoying kids, freaks who "play video games all day and dont have a job or life", Newbs, and peaople that would prefer no supercompetitive egos.

So if they only allow 3 of you as a party I wouldnt thing that it would be open up to cheating since the system should also be searching for 3 other competitors.

It would be relieving to find out that Brutes will not be playable skins in multiplayer. Any chance of some info?

you mentioned in the last podcast that scene where the brutes used all that equipment against you. you said that doent happen all the time, but i have one question: will the brutes use equipment in response to your actions on a regular basis? in other words, if you throw a power drain at them, will they usually use their regenerator to counter it if they have one? or was that pure chance? if you throw a grenade or they are weak, will they use the bubble shield on purpose then? if they use the radar jammer or flare, does that mean they'll take advantage of it afterwards (i.e. charge you)? what i mean is: are the brutes generally intelligent with their use of equipment?

hey bungie people: in halo 2 there was a training level at the very beginning; "The Armory". in halo 3 will the equivelent of this be the entire sierra 117 level, a seperate "level", or just the very first part of sierra 117 (first insertion point to the second insertion point)? btw, great podcast guys, and i cant wait for halo 3 to ship!!! What are your plans for DLC? Will you release other things on DLC besides maps, gamerpics, or themes (any new armor, emblems, ect.)? 2). Can you guys share a couple personal facts (i.e. favorite movie, favorite band, most awesome moment ever in your life, ect.)? 3). Will you guys be online playing 4 player co-op with fans the week of Halo 3's release(I would like to watch brutes commiting "seppuku" and grunts commiting "junshi" with Luke on Legendary)? 4). Kitten with a cowboy hat eh...no love for man's best friend(two words...weiner dog)? 5). What is the running time for the Limited Edition Xbox 360 excecutable disc and the bonus Legendary disc? I know this may have been answered in a podcast i didn't listen to but, when halo 3 comes out September 25th, I know there won't be many legendary editions left but will there be enough limited editions for everyone? Or should i just preorder a limited edition copy?

the thing that i think is scary is that the brutes have a better design and how they look and if you heard on the podcast about how smart they are i would actully not play it on legendary or maybe not on even heroic unless i really no what i am doin but cant wait

there are more games coming out with clan features other than Halo that i would consider playing now. Also i just want to say that having clans on bungie.net i will not make anything easier for clan ppl. In Halo 2 all u had to do was press y and there was ur clans list and ur friends list. Its a mistake that i thought Bungie would never make. Clans are also the reason y im still playing Halo 2 and not other games. Without clan support Halo 3 will just be game i'll play campaign on play a few mm games and thats all i'll just move on to other games that have clans so i can keep my clans running.

Ok, I understand that the US is where Bungie is located but why doesn't the UK get any TV adverts or a good marketing campaign? It feels like you're leaving the British fans out. Surely if you increased the marketing campaign over here it would increase the number of customers for Halo 3.

Service tags: Are they still in the final game? If so, can they be turned off (so that gamertags are displayed instead) I just prefer seeing people's gamertags like in Halo 2, and I don't really want to be called a random number... Confusing... Great edition, loving the regular podcasts please keep them coming, learning so much about game development as well as being kept thoroughly entertained keep it up!! A few questions to ask. 1) You have stated that the elephant is currently only on the multiplayer map Sandtrap, however will it be in the campaign? 2) Will there be midnight launches all over the world including Europe and what plans do bungie have? 3) A lot of testing is being done on Halo 3 to make sure it ships as intended, however will we still be seeing any more updates on halo 2? ( more maps, playlist changes, etc) 4) We heard during Bungie updates before the beta about new death animations (when your killed) in Halo 3, now the games coming to completion, will there be lots of new animations when your killed in Halo 3, or when killed with certain weapons, and whats your favourite? 5) Last, to me it seems outside of helping with the podcast Luke smith gets paid to own people in halo 3?
