If so, by what means? Through sheer logic and philosophy? Through religion? Through science? Physics? Or will we never know the answers to the only questions that we truly want to know? Furthermore, do you worry that if we do find out the answers, that we'll suffer from a species-wide depression, because there simply won't be any answers worth seeking?

We already know: Life exists simply to continue, there is no "Greater Purpose". People can't handle knowing that, which is why they turn to religion and falsities in an attempt to give justification for why we are 'we', being unable to handle that our existence, and the existence of life itself, means nothing. There is no great purpose for why we exist, there is nothing special about us as 'life', we simply exist, and eventually will not exist.
