  • okay, here goes... about a year ago, around mid-december, i got on xbl for the first time. purely a n00b, i randomly jumped into a halo 2 double team match just to get an idea of multiplayer. a few matchs in i met a guy named I UnOrThAdOx I. he let me in on a few tips and tricks and strategies for how to more effieciently kill someone. later on that week, he invited me into a custom lockout match with about 6 or 7 other people. i said whatever, jumped in. that's where i met two of my best gaming buddies of all time: Son Blade and Carlogo. the session tooks several turns for the interesting, for lack of a better word, during which all the guys found out i was a girl and proceeded to stalk me all over the map, killing each other just to be the only one around me. i think. all of them except Son Blade. he hung back, watched, got killed every now and then. i didn't really think anything of it. the weeks went by and i continued playing with I UnOrThAdOx I and Carlogo, Son Blade went with us every now and then but most of the time was off doing matchmaking by himself. i got to know Carlogo through our glitching antics but barely got chances to know Son Blade better due to his dislike of glitching around. it was fine, i had people to hang out with at least. when we were all out of the sanctuary boundary, we all swapped myspaces. Carlog hardly got on, but Son Blade and i started talking. in a few months, we were getting along great. one day, our conversation turned to relationships. i had a few in the past i regretted, and i told him that. he said never. the conversation evaporated after that. i don't know exactly what happened after that. Son Blade and i continued talking, my halo skills improved due to his and Carlogo's help, and once i got my 360, things went uphill from there. he and i could talk while playing whatever individual game we wanted. it opened the spectrum and let us relax more around the other. then, sometime around july or august or so, he got over his emotional barriers and told me he loved me. it knocked me completely off-guard and i had no idea what to do. after halo 3 came out and he didn't buy it right on the 25th, his brother got it for him and woke him up at some insanely early hour in the morning to play co-op campaign with me. it was the thing i least expected, as he gets enough, sometimes semingly too much sleep every night to wake up at about 5:30-6 or so to keep his schedule tight. he didn't stay up too long, a few hours, and went back to sleep, but it was great for me. now, i couldn't ask for anyone else. to be completely honest, it's not that difficult trying to keep a long-distance relationship strong. he lives in texas and i'm in california, but he's due to visit after he walks in late may, i hope the bus ride doesn't kill him...we're so close, and neither of us asked the other out. pretty much, it was no questions, no problems. we've had no drama between us, and so far other than the distance, i can't ask this to get any better. this is getting long....all i have left to say is i love him, and i will be his girl forever
