A brief novel summary
Just spent the last 45 minutes putting this together, with the idea to spend a few hours a week building this up into a full size novel.
[u]One sentence summary[/u]
A young Dynamaar warrior goes on the journey of his life to discover the origins of the universe.
[u]Paragraph Summary[/u]
Mars is a young Dynamaar warrior, with promising ambitions and a cool head.
His life is turned upside down when on his promotion his parents are murdered and the Dynamaar Navy force him to leave his home planet, leaving nothing but empty promises to bring the murderer to justice. Investigating his parent’s death leads him to an archaeological dig site where he discovers a mysterious alien artefact, bestowing on him a strange gift that only seems to bewilder him further. Mars tries to come to terms with what is unfolding ahead of him, and slowly becomes more and more drawn to a small star system near the centre of the galaxy, where his questions will be answered.
Will update OP as I come up with more material to build up the universe.

2 RepliesNearly got a better version. Writing out the dig site, turning it into more of a space opera. Mars comes into contact with a civilisation on the other side of the galaxy. There's a political(?) uprising, the leader(s) are killed, the planet is put under siege. Mars investigates an anomaly at the pole that appeared the moment the civilisation's leader was assassinated to find an artefact... blah blah blah

1 ReplySeems kind of unoriginal. The archaeological dig site thing reminded me of Mass Effect. The names seem like something from a generic fantasy video game. Do not be discouraged, for this is only a summary and you have not yet thought out the entire plot.
