Halo: The Thursday War.

It just released today, has any one bought a copy yet? It's a direct sequel to Glasslands.

I thought Margret put that team together to know you black ops. And last I checked ONI doesn't answer to the UNSC anymore.
Assumptions on your part.
And how about marget and osmen talking in real time from half the galaxy away? Why didn't the UNSC use that during the War? Like when Reach fell? Last I checked it took awhile to send messages. Hell the Port Stanley is only about to get improved comms to send andhear messages in slip.
Ever heard of advancements made in the tech departement? You really think humanity stopped doing that in 2553? And it seems you have forgotten that the UNSC have recently discovered a cache of Forerunner tech and are already implementing it into theirs.

how is it an assumption when Margret said her self that kilo-five would be undermining hood whole plan for peace? I'm damn sure if your going to do something like that you wanna hide it from the guy your doing it to who also you know...holds the highest rank in the UNSC. Also I knew it! I knew one of you would pull the forerunner tech card. Your wrong there. Adj who Margret spoke to on the infinity said that they only worked on slip drive thus far and then after that would start work on the comms. Also unless you tell me halo now has space magic I won't believe that whole its the future crap. The UNSC has to piggy back messages on ships entering slipspace . The UNSC cannot hear messages in slip, hell the first time its ever attempted is by Cortana but that was using covie tech and not UNSC. So the only way that they've could have spoken was via normal which you know is a whole lot damn slower then something in slip.
did you even read the book? right after they talk throught slipspace, they state how that would have been usefull during the war and that it was one of the forehuner advances.
