sure halo was wicked awesome but don't you people think that with some unlockable content like extra maps it would be awesomer

There was something like unlockable stuff in Halo, when you beat it on Lengendary you get an extra scene in the movie.

I agree with hedwig. Also, unlockable content is not the same as easter eggs. Just thought I'd clarify for you. While easter eggs are secret, not all secrets are easter eggs. I don't think the idea of unlockables is all that great. I don't like the idea of being forced to play things to get features. For an FPS, I think that's a silly way to give the game more replayability. It's different with a fighter game like Soul Calibur, because with fighters, you don't have much to work with, so you have to come up with tricky (almost underhanded) ways of making the player want to play again. Downloadable content on the other hand is awesome. Usually it comes out after you've become quite familiar with the game as it stands, and it enhances the flavor of the game without forcing you to play a certain way. I believe that's a better alternative to unlockables.

yeah downloadable content and easter eggs would be what is in halo 2, unlockables wouldn’t really fit the style of the first game, and I’m sure it won't fit in in halo 2

well you could start with normal maps and get extra ones along the way you could also unlock like outtakes and stuff

DL new multi maps, knowing bungie it would take them 1 year for a simple map.

Personally I don't want to have to finish the campaign before I can use all of the MP maps. But if it was unlockable extras like outtakes or something that would be ok.

They will probably have Downloadable Content with XBL for new stuff and easter eggs
