Here's how I see it, it takes "different" skill but not more. Those who say it does should do some gameplay and actually research it. Halo 3 I think it's 30-40% skill and the rest PURE luck with spawning and timing. Also your weapon over theirs.
COD I think is just camping and one shotting. COD is not really skill, but advantage. A 5 star general has way more perks than a recruit or a colonel so if it came down to it a general" with more exp" would easily win just from a couple little perks, not really skill.
However if a recruit did beat a general then I would put that into the skill category of COD.
Posted by: Screamo
Posted by: Lord Popl
Posted by: Surplex I don't know why were still even comparing Cod to Halo...
I'm comparing them, but thats not the true point I was trying to convey. All I'm saying is that halo 3 is not perfect. There are many things wrong with it that cannot be changed. What im saying is some days u win every match and u massacre the enemy team."righ rankers or not". And then you might play some one that is so far beneath you, and they end up winning. not by skill just by 70% luck with spawns and kept gettin random double kill fragz. Then they brag about their SKILL.
lol. if you get 3 of your colonel friends, and i invite 3 random people off my friends list we would demolish you every single game. you can call it luck or whatever you want, but we would run you every game. that's because halo 3 takes quite a bit of skill, and you suck ass and are forced to make excuses.
As arrogant as Screamo is, he has a point here. Individual skill does play a big role in H3. Personally, I don't have much of it, but I have respect for those who do.
