This seems pretty in-line with the rest of our new powers. We currently have the ability to filter content based on what hashtags it doesn't have, but not the ability to filter it based on what hashtags it does have.
Explanation:
Right now filtering by #flood will filter out any threads without the #flood. There is currently no way however to say #flood w/o #religion.
This could be a solution for those that don't think certain content (such as religion) should be on Bnet. If there was a setting where we could automatically hide any thread with #XYZ, then you could increase your odds of never having to see it. I personally don't block anything, but it seems like a natural extension of the abilities we've already been given.
While you could use the current hashtag filters to effectively remove one particular topic, you would wind up filtering out a lot more content than you would targeting just that hashtag.
