New Halo 2 Maps are Here!
The new Halo 2 maps are here. Bug fixes, workarounds and more - for folks having troubles, inside.

I got my new maps on my 360. now comes the fun part. alternating 1 flag on tombstone with touch return on, 5 minutes per side, no time limit until one team caped 3 flags. The days of old, ending the game with 250+ kills. litterally a single game could last up to an hour and a half. not sure how it will work out on tombstone, but i am sure however it works out it will be a blast.

i guess its true...i honestly thought it was a typo when it said rumble pit UNRANKED. seriously, i dont care if the population is low, its still the only non team game and now itas unranked...and another thing, its bad enough BTB is unranked, but now only 5v5 or 6v6!!??? i mean come on bungie what the hell are you thinking...

Yeah! WTF! So they reduce BTB to 6v6? Didnt they tried that and fail? Not only that, they dont even put the new maps in BTB when maps like Containment (Big) and Warlock (Small) are! And they get rid of BTB Skirmish and make Rumble Pit unranked. It just seems like they are saying... "Heres some cool new maps to cover up for the fact that we are going to destroy match making."

there is no buts... big team battles was the only decent playlist there because it does differnt things and not just slayer slayer slayer.. maybe I and others dont like slayer? maybe we want to kick ass in a 16 player arm the bomb or CTF match?

I can't download the maps on my 360 or my regular xbox. On 360 it just fails and says try again later and on the xbox it says my credit card has expired and when I go to the dashboard to try and change my information, it asks for the last 4 digits of the card and I no longer have the card so I can't even get there. Isn't there a way I can just put in a new card number and dl some damn maps? This is making me ANGRY!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhh

i agree totally, this blows, and your right they did try it with that team carnage which failed miserably, so they are just going to do it again and nobody will play it, then they will do another update at the end of summer to get rid of BTB somehow. thats exactly what happens when they change this. just keep the core list from when the game first came out and leave them alone

10/10 people would vote yes to keep BTB because BTB is nice to have there for when u have a big party and its good for when u cant be bothered killing in slayer all night. bungie sure do listen to us ;) if they did.. BTB wud be staying.

The new maps are great, nice work! But why will they not be in Double Team and BTB!? Desolation is the perfect 2vs2 map!

here is the 2 best solutions to the map problems: first: make them free second: failing that, make them available through the 360 dashboard! AND for matchmaking leave rumble pit ranked, BTB where it is, also make BTB slayer ranked again, that used to be my highest level, and make a ranked version of swat

I had no problem with the download or the recent update. Tombstone is exactly what I was hoping it would be, and I guess I will have to see how the game types through matchmaking are for desolation before I decide if I really like it. Good luck to the rest of you that had problems with the maps......peace....thanks Bungie

Why cant i download the new maps i get that damn error everyone is talking about... cant we use the points for this, damn it bungie give us some damn answer our questions and fix the damn problem or your not gonna get my $4... hurry up or im gonna pull my halo3 legendary reserve, you already made me pay and extra $30

I had to do that cos my credit card had expired and i no longer had that card. I called up and had them change my credit card info to my new credit card. took about 30 min to do it, but it worked and I got my new maps no prob.

nice threat dude, all of you that continue to complain about the microsoft points need to figure it out. You have had plenty of notice that you would need to use ur credit card.....quit acting as if it was a big shock from Bungie. And hopefully you do cancel ur Halo 3 if ur this big of a baby about something that is this simple, u must be that guy in the lobby that we all can't stand anyway.

plz help i am still currently trying to download the 2 new maps now i have rang microsoft and everythin appears to be fine with my account my credit card is up todate, but i still get the error of preimum purches not enabled can someone plz tell me is there a button on the 360 which allows me to enable this, now i have checked that my card works cos i have just purchest some points any help would be great cheers
