New Halo 2 Maps are Here!
The new Halo 2 maps are here. Bug fixes, workarounds and more - for folks having troubles, inside.

Same here, I've tried everything I can think of. I keep coming back here for a resolve but no luck. Too many people crying about $4 & maps.

I was also getting the download failed message on my account. My problem was I had 2 credit cards on my account. The card I originally used to set up my account had expired and the new card was not designated as the default card to use. And due to the fact that you are using the Xbox purchase system you can't designate which card to use. If you have a similar situation you need to go to xboxlive.com, log in under your passport account and go to "Manage Profile". From there you can mess around with your credit card info settings. Hope that helps.

Thank you SO much for making the BR the default weapon in Tombstone. This map would have been so awful if we had to deal with the SMG on it... And where's this pistol easter egg? They should have the BTB Slayer and BTB Skirmish then throw in the orignal BTB, or a BTB S&S(Slayer and Skirmish) that way it would make everyone happen, or make ranked and unranked versions of each. Just my thoughts.

I already found a death glitch in tombstone:( I grenade jumped up to a ledge against a wall. As I was walking along the ledge i fell over dead! This is dumb how are you suppost to get the maps if you dont have a credit card ??? you should be able to buy the maps with a microsoft points if you have a 360 Never mind if you push the A button like 34 times you will get the download with out a creditcard [Edited on 04.17.2007 10:20 PM PDT]

Maps downloaded right away with no problems to my 360. Both are awesome. Great job Bungie and CA! On a side note It's amazing how much everyone here likes to whine so much. [Edited on 04.17.2007 9:40 AM PDT]

Thanks for the one new map Bungie. I do think it is worth the $4 for Tombstone. Desolation is a nice little funny joke that came with it...more or less its Warlock. There is no need for sword in Tombstone...think the red base has enough.....base? Still trying to think what advantages the blue has: some-what closer to the sniper, Close to one of the 2 OS (red has one in a tunnel), about 10 less nads, no plasmas in base, not as high as red base...wait, why am I starting to name the negative about blue base...maybe b/c there aint much good things to say. But overall i like Tomestone....so long as im red:) Desolation, is crap w/ scary sounds. I am going to go out on a limb and say 80% of Halo 2 players would rather have a newer version of.....ANYTHING than the crap that is Desolation. That's my two cents and I'm sticking to it!

I do agree that the maps don't seem worth the trouble that xbox 360 users have to go through. But at the same time I don't think ANYONE should complain about the price, I mean unless your really cheap and all. Bungie should have considered both types of users, people who use xbox 360 and people who use the original xbox. All in all I don't think the maps were worth the time and confusion it took to fix the problem, But at the same time I say the maps aren't that bad (still not as good as I had expected).

Blue base, drop down and grab rockets, "Sniper down" go grab sniper and now you have both :) I think the maps look very good and should make some really fun game types for match making. The sound in them was a nice touch. This was something a lot of us have been asking for from the begging and from a older update you explained how much work it takes so I would like to thank you very much for these maps and very much worth the $4

This totally sucks, i go on my 360, into the download area- i have a card set up- and then i begin the download, 10 seconds later it tells me that the purchase failed! WTF is wrong with this I want maps!!
