Honestly I could not get into the game... mainly due to the combat. I would swing at something 1 foot ahead of me and it won't register the hit.
When oblivion came out everyone was saying.how it was lightvyears ahead of morrowind but now that skyrim been out for a while people are saying how great morrowind was..
Was it really that good?
Posted by: St Major Dan
Posted by: Blacknight159 It's because unlike Oblivion and Skyrim Morrowind had an interesting story. True, it was marred by painful graphics, combat, and animation but again, it was the story and atmosphere that made it so well loved.
This. I don't feel game devs realise how important an atmosphere is to a game they are making.
agreed, although i could not get into morrowind becuase i bought it last year and its game mechanics have not aged well, i could still feel the atmosphere in a mystifying way. skyrim was all like LOLOLOL DRAGONS AND VIKINGS LOLOLOL oblivion still has some of that mystery to it.
