I see this every year that people get offended that there is a Christmas Tree in like a town square, a public office, etc.
It is now becoming more "politically correct" to say happy Holidays and saying "Merry Christmas" is becoming offensive. Isn't that a bit silly?
It amazes me that people actually protest to have Christmas Trees removed from these places saying it offends them. How does a Tree offend you?
Posted by: Adamal123
Posted by: ABotelho I swear it's like you guys don't understand the government isn't supposed to show religious bias. It's really that simple. Government land = no tree Private land = tree if they chose to That's it.
But they kind of do? Seriously, what part of that can't you comprehend? Sure, the Government isn't "supposed" to, but that doesn't mean they don't.
People in the government do, but the government itself (the laws) does not, or is definitely not supposed to. Can you point to legislation that shows favoritism? I'm not saying it doesn't exist (there are plenty of nonsense state laws still on the books), but they shouldn't be there (or enforced).
