I see this every year that people get offended that there is a Christmas Tree in like a town square, a public office, etc.
It is now becoming more "politically correct" to say happy Holidays and saying "Merry Christmas" is becoming offensive. Isn't that a bit silly?
It amazes me that people actually protest to have Christmas Trees removed from these places saying it offends them. How does a Tree offend you?
Posted by: ABotelho
Posted by: Adamal123 Yeah, it's meant to, but are you really going to give x amount of people the same amount of say as xxxxxxxxx amount of people? That would be unfair.
That's not even relevant. They are two different majorities. Muslims, jews, hindus, etc could have all voted for Obama along with a a whole bunch of Christians. Christians could have also been the only ones voting for Romney. Two different majorities. They aren't necessarily the same people.
You turned it into voting. I am relating how the majority has the most say in the Government to how the majority of the population is Christian, thus, they would have more power to celebrate what they want nationally. What? Should we listen to someone from the UK complain about how they think the 4th of July is offensive? Don't you dare say it's irrelevant because it is. The same principle applies.
