The scareist one ever. It haunted my life.
One night, the girl's mum and dad went out to stay at a friends. After a long arguement, they eventually allowed their daughter to stay home alone for the night. Only that night.
"But I might get scared." She said, just before they were about to leave.
"If you get scared, put your hand under the bed and let the dog lick your fingers. He'll remind you that he's there to protect you."
The daughter agreed and several hours after the parents left, she went up to bed. In the middle of the night, she heard 'Drip...drip...drip...' She got confused and went to the bathroom. Both the taps were sealed and she climbed back into bed. Before dozing off, she put her hand underneath the bed and she felt the dog lick her fingers.
Later, she again heard 'Drip...drip...drip..' Confused again, she went downstairs and into the kitchen. Both taps were again sealed and not dripping. She went back into bed and before dozing off she put her hand underneath the bed and felt the dog lick her fingers again.
A few hours later, she heard 'Drip...drip...drip...' This time, she turned on the light. She listened quietly and found the dripping was coming from the cupboard. She opened it up and inside found her dog, hanging from it's neck with a pool of blood beneath it. Behind the dog, written in blood it said 'Humans can lick too, you know.'
