  • i still think the jumping is good, but the movement does need increasing. friendly fire is one of the big problems for gameplay i think. it is an unaddressed problem. it should be taken out at least for team objective games, stops people betraying for flag or oddball or a weapon. the armour lock is useful if you use it right and should have longer recharge time though. grenades could be toned down and the size though. instead of "grenade out" its "nuke out" damage should be lowered a bit and size should deffinently be reduced. also ive found you can regenerate shields in armour lock. this should not be the case, you should be the same health and shields you were on when you entered. cammo sucks with jammer, it has no practical use accept to screen ur teammates. it should be crouch and be invisible to radar even when shootin ur gun, or the radar should be left alone. i like the fact that armour abilities are kind of random. it means those nerds who play halo all time of 24/7 have a disadvatage, instead of always predicting what will happen, they will have to leave room for adjustment in case an armour ability comes into play. makes it easier for the people who play for fun and more even matches rather than always one sided. reach is more tactical and camping is not as much accpet with sniper. people in halo 3 always camped and in reach its less, again because they dont always win because of random armour abilities. i agree that the moving should be increased but the jumpin is fine. better than jumping over the moon. if you really annoyed witn it, sprint jump, JET PACK or simply adapt. if you cant adapt, u arnt really a true master at halo. grenades are overpowered but not as much as people think. they are only really overpowered because people cant move out of the way. either the speed increased or the grenades have a longer explosion time. they do need to be toned down a little in power though. they also need to be made smaller, not the size of nukes, but more a tiny wincy bit bigger than halo 3. those ones were too small. but if they were made a tiny tiny tiny bit bigger they would be fine. the warning tail is ok, but again, the size needs to be made smaller. the assault rilfe needs to have a little smaller reticle. i mean, whoes going to fire it in birsts. only works for longer range. med to short range u mine as well shot as fast as possible. so i think they need to be a little bit more accurate. the sprint could use half to one second extra using time or half to one second faster recharge time. it would make a hell of a difference and would make sprint a more effective ability. i think also that the focus rifle could be a bit more acurate and a little stronger, simply to make it a better long range weapon. otherwise its just a shotgun beam weapon. elites need to have a stronger shield to be more effective against shotgun and plasma weapons. this way it would be more better for eliets vsin spartans, especially on invasion where elites have a hard job. with invasion, the elite with the care should have overshields to make it harder for the spartans to kill. that way it would be much easier, because you cant fight back anyway. just mentioning this in case but the melee should be slower, maybe even a little slower that halo 3, to make it a more skillful thing to use rather than a spam. i like the halo 1 CE melee speed. it was slower that meaning a more skillful thing to use. the rank system is good but i think it should be a little more visible. sure i sometimes puts pressure on people but ive seen and played with generals on halo 3 and they were very bad. it should be seen more otherwise whats the point of rank. the credits are good. it like that idea. for some who dont like it, just dont worry about it. i like the idea better than having to work for achievemnts that are so hard to get and there is a limited number that you can get. i use the credits, and i look awesome. the social thing is a good idea but ineffective. when you want to find a person who is polite and a team player, it slows search too much and since you cant join a game in progress, it makes it so u just say i dont mind even when you do, jst to get a quick match. sorry bungie, but it is just not going to happen unless you can join a game in progress. a small thing is that you could show when youre close to finding a person, or whether you need to restart search or go into another playlist. something that could help with this is showing how many people are in the particular playlist, whether searching or playing. this way it could help choose a good playlist so you know around about how long you have to wait for a game, not waiting hoping to find someone when youre not going to anyway. this would be even more useful if you could join games in progress and find faster matches. i know i have stated that alot needs to be improved, but overall, reach is awesome and fast paced, (accept for the fact you cant move very fast, need to work on that) but is a great job bungie. i hope ive been help. edit: i really stress on the betrayin thing. BETRAYING IS HORRIBLE ESPECIALLY IN TEAM OBJECTIVE GAMES! WHEN I GET THE FLAG, I DO ALL THE HARD WORK AND SOMEONE BETRAYS ME TO GET THE CREDIT I DESERVE!!!!!! TAKE OUT BETRAYING FOR TEAM OBJECTIVE GAMES AT LEAST!!!! ITS HORRIBLE AND HAS NO USEFULNESS IN GAME AND IS SIMPLY A NUICIANCE. EITHER TAKE IT OUT OR PUT A BAN ON IT LIKE THE QUITTER BAN (good idea by the way) BE SERIOUSLY. TAKE OUT BETRAYING IN TEAM OBJECTIVE GAMES AT LEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OR AT LEAST MAKE IT LIKE THE QUITTER BAN. YOU KNOW BETRAY TOO MANY PEOPLE 1/2 AN HOUR BAN. TAKE IT OUT, ITS SOOOOOOO BAAD!!!!!!!! also to the booting system, it doesnt work!!! when i get betrayed in one flag its usually at the end of the round or game. i say get rid of betrayal or put something like a quitter ban on it is so people will stop betraying. the booting system doesnt work and alot of the time you get booted for accidental betrayals. the people betraying usually do it so they can beat the booting system, (not very hard) so i say, take it off for team objective games, as thats where it is the most prominant or put something like a quitter ban on it because the betrayal booting system doesnt work. im sorry but it needs to be taken out. no one likes it ,except those who betray, and it has been a real problem, in all halos. make reach the one to stop this betrayin thing. its really just a bad thing and should be taken out!!
