.....? I never said always for just hogs. I said this about a multitude of things, and that doesn't mean I'm aiming at a warthog. Yeah, I'll shoot a guy on foot, and then get gunned down by a turret, so I was aiming at the warthog while aiming at a guy on foot. THAT MAKES SENSE. Also, I've never tapped the trigger in ANY shooter, especially Halo. I seriously want to know how you got somewhere in Halo.
Rapidly tapping the trigger is something that people have been doing for ages to keep accuracy. Also The Spiker does about 60% more damage than the M7/Caseless Submachine Gun and 20% more damage than the MA5C Assault Rifle; on Heroic difficulty, it takes 20 Spiker rounds, 24 assault rifle rounds, or 32 SMG rounds to kill a human Marine. This makes the Spiker the most powerful full-auto projectile weapon in the game, but this is balanced out by the slightly reduced rate of fire and the fact that the projectiles are not hitscan
If you're talking about recoil, then I understand this now. However tapping the spiker made it less likely for me to kill my target than before, and is your information accurate and reliable? Because it sounds like you got it off of a Halo wiki.
